Вышла новая версия мода EiC v1.3 от мододела Bethencourt November 01, 2010, 07:35 PM / Re: Updates and previewsИзменения привносимые этой версиейLatest files of v1.3 have been sent to testers so if no big changes are to be done the new version will be released late this week or early next week.Some things requested have been left for next version 1.4 as more playable factions for example, and some other minor changes.These are the features that the new version 1.3 will have:Recruitment:- Now faction units can be only recruited in homeland. So faction militia and cavalry are not able any more in foreing lands. This is to prevent the spam of this units as in previous version when the AI reached the limit of the AOR infantry only had these two options so it resulted in stacks of a lot of militia and cavalry. To compensate this a AOR of cavalry and artillery has been created. And militia has a recruting limit of 10 in most cases, and France only has national guard, not militia any more.- As France was said to be having a poor performance and it is historically accurate that France had a much more advanced administration and national spirit that allowed a wider conscription, now French line infantry can be recruited in all regions were there are administrative buildings. But this recruitment wont give any experience to the units even when the building is updated. Military units can only have a good training in military facilities so adminisrtative buildings do not add any experience. For the rest of the factions as it historically happened they have to learn from France the recruitment system and that is reflected in the new feature by which they will be able to recruit line infantry but only when they reach level 4 in administrative buildings, so in late campaign they will have the same mobilization capability as France. And as it is said in the previous parragraph this is only in homeland.- Early Units. A new optional feature which goes with the core file but can be desactivated by a submod that has been developed for it (No Early Units), It is that now most units of the game can be played from the beginning, not all but most. This is because most of the units of the game were present in the time the game begins, in 1805. This is for all factions minor included. This feature can be desactivated by using No Early Units submod placing it above the EiC v1.3. in modmanager and selecting it too.Economy:To balance the economy which in my terms means to change economy variables to achieve some game behaviour these changes have been made:- All minor factions, which is most German and Italian States now have the vanilla upkeep so together with other changes they do not create several almost full stacks. But as in Early units they are allowed to recruit better quality units they are not an enemy to forget about.- To keep the human player ability to recruit land and naval, build and make diplomatic expenses that was able in V 1.2. but preventing the Ai to become a stack spamming monster, the handicap in several field, such upkeep, recruiting cost and building, have been adjusted so the player can have a more adecuate response by the AI. - The balance in VH and normal Campaign related to upkeep of land units so the Ai does not spam them. But in VH the economy of human player is smaller maybe less than half of normal and hard.Startpos. (How the game starts)- About startpos some ports have been given by historical reasons as a drydock in St. Petersburg or a drydock in Sevastopol. I think Russia shuld have more ports to include a commercial one in the Black sea but that is what we have, so to balance Turquish fleet and somehow French fleet i decided to be a drydock. Also Austria has been given a drydock in Split and the commercial port in Rotterdam has been improved one level so United Netherlands can recruit better war ships. Venetia port has also been improved one level.- This is for Halbard: Portugal has been given a trade company port in Porto, so this faction will be able to create better combat ships. Finally it was decided not to change the diplomacy status of Potugal as being in war against Spain and France in 1805 is rather ahistorical, as the big conflict in Iberian Peninsula started in 1808.-Hungary has a higher level of army facility, and Bohemia has a cantonment just for Napoleon Campaigns.AI behaviour.- Great Britain, AI naval personality has been created with two purposes, one is so that this faction spends more in navy and less in land. The second is to make it more active when blockading enemy ports and attacking enemy fleets.- Fleets tend to concentrate so they create bigger fleets.- AI campaign movement points advantage has been reduced so France always starts with advantage in these stats unless VH in which it is the same value for Human France. Battles- This files have the naval graphic bug for the factions not being France, Great Britain and Spain corrected.- Also the Lager Deployments Zones has the naval changes that were prepared for v1.2 which finally did not go with it.- A new deployment zone it is also available so it replaces the vanilla land values and the naval closer deployments zones.- Also it has changes in land battle so the rifles lethality has been rised but the fatigue reduced. So this will be released next week end or early next week.
