Caravan Guard -> Mercenary swordsman -> Hired Blade(infantry.)
-> Mercenary Horseman(lvl20, medium armour.)
- Npc party size seems to be limited to the lord's skills and renown now, similar to the player. I haven't done extensive testing, but after 60 days of speeding through and watching combats, all the lords still have around 50ish troops, with the kings having +50. I could be wrong, but at a glance it looked like on several occasions extra freed prisoners were erased, as I saw a party with 50 prisoners and 20 men defeated by 2 parties of 50ish and the winners still had about the same number at the end - and I don't think they lost 50 men against 20.
- Pole arms can now be swung over head, right and left.... with the piercing option still available by aiming down.---- I definetly like this change Smile
- Mounted archers are far more agile and accurate. (it seems all AI archers have improved accuracy, but player shield coverage is better.)---Tournament horse archers are a good challenge now.
- It also appears that Inf. are more of a challenge vs. cavalry. The old side step and hack has returned for AI nord troops.
- Added about twice more item modifiers (also for food). They are in files, not sure that they're also in game (maybe work in progress).
- In ui file there's a new order to "hold fire/fire at will". It's not in the game though.
Changes in skills:
Trade - reduces your trade penalty by 5% (was 10%)
Leadership - increases maximum number of troops you can command by 5 (was 3)
Wound Treatment - Party healing speed is increased by 20% (was 30%)
Pathfinding - Party map speed is increased by 2% (was 3%)
Power Throw - increases throwing damage by 10% (was 7%)
Power Strike - Each point to this skill increases melee damage by 8% (was 6%)
